Das VOX-O-RAMA Typ 47 ist ein hochwertiges Großmembran-Röhrenkondensatormikrofon, das als detailgetreue Reinterpretation des legendären Neumann U47 entwickelt wurde. Das Mikrofon wurde vom renommierten Mikrofontechniker Andreas Grosser konzipiert und basiert auf der originalen U47-Schaltung sowie auf Bauteilen, die nach historischen Neumann-Spezifikationen gefertigt wurden.
Im Gegensatz zu vielen modernen U47-Repliken verwendet das Typ 47 möglichst identische Komponenten zum historischen Vorbild, darunter eine M7-Kapsel und den klassischen BV-08-Ausgangsübertrager. Dadurch entsteht ein Klangbild, das dem originalen Vintage-Mikrofon sehr nahekommt.
Da originale VF14-Röhren heute kaum verfügbar sind, arbeitet das Typ 47 standardmäßig mit einer speziell entwickelten FET-Schaltung, die die Eigenschaften dieser Röhre möglichst exakt nachbildet. Diese Lösung wurde von Andreas Grosser ursprünglich als Ersatz für historische U47-Mikrofone entwickelt und ermöglicht eine sehr authentische Klangcharakteristik bei höherer Zuverlässigkeit.
Klangcharakter
Das Typ 47 orientiert sich klanglich am klassischen U47-Sound:
Der Klang ist warm, präsent und sehr detailreich, mit einem ausgeprägten Mittenbereich und gleichzeitig weichen Höhen. Dadurch eignet sich das Mikrofon besonders für Stimmen und akustische Instrumente.
Durch die Kombination aus M7-Kapsel und BV-08-Übertrager entsteht ein sehr dreidimensionales Klangbild mit stabilem Low-End und natürlicher Dynamik.

🇬🇧 VOX-O-RAMA Type 47
The VOX-O-RAMA Type 47 is a high-end large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone designed as an accurate modern recreation of the legendary Neumann U47. Developed by renowned microphone technician Andreas Grosser, the microphone follows the original U47 circuit design and uses components built according to historic Neumann specifications.
Unlike many modern U47-style microphones, the Type 47 uses components closely matching the original design, including an M7 capsule and the classic BV-08 output transformer. This results in a sonic character very similar to vintage U47 microphones.
Because original VF14 tubes are extremely rare today, the microphone normally uses a specially developed FET device that accurately reproduces the electrical and sonic behavior of the VF14 tube. This circuit was originally created by Andreas Grosser as a replacement solution for vintage U47 repairs.
Sound Character
The Type 47 is designed to deliver the classic U47 sound signature.
Its tone is warm, detailed and forward-sounding, with rich midrange presence and smooth high-frequency response. This makes the microphone particularly well suited for vocals and acoustic instruments.
The combination of the M7 capsule and BV-08 transformer produces a three-dimensional sound with solid low-end and natural dynamics, closely resembling the sonic character of vintage tube microphones.
