Universal Audio UAD-2 Satellite USB OCTO Core
The Universal Audio UAD-2 Satellite USB OCTO Core is a powerful external DSP accelerator for Windows-based studios, allowing engineers to run UAD plug-ins using dedicated hardware processing instead of the computer’s CPU.
Equipped with eight SHARC DSP processors, the OCTO model provides substantial processing power for large mixes with multiple instances of high-quality analog-modeled plug-ins. It connects directly to a Windows computer via USB 3.0.
The system gives access to the complete UAD plug-in ecosystem, featuring highly detailed emulations of classic studio equipment from brands such as Neve, Studer, Lexicon, Manley, and Ampex.
