DPA 4006A Condenser Microphone (Omnidirectional)

The DPA 4006A Omni Mic is a world-renowned reference small diaphragm condenser microphone with an omnidirectional polar pattern. It is designed for the highest level of accuracy in studio, classical and high-end recording environments.

Combining the legendary MMC4006 capsule with the MMP-A preamp, it delivers an exceptionally linear response and outstanding detail. Its pressure-based omnidirectional design captures sound naturally and without directional coloration, making it ideal for realistic spatial recordings.


Sound Character

The 4006A is known for its extreme neutrality and transparency. Its omnidirectional pattern produces a highly natural, open and three-dimensional sound with excellent depth.

Low frequencies extend deeply while remaining tight and controlled, mids are clear and accurate, and highs are detailed and natural. Its consistent off-axis response contributes to a highly realistic spatial image.
